Assalamualaykum wa rahmatullahi wa barakatuhu,
Rochdale Dawah Centre Presents:
Invites you to:
RDC 1st Khutbah Training Seminar
(free entrance with food and notes provided. Limited spaces and booking required)
Delivered by Brother Masood Chowdhury
The Friday Prayer is one of the most important gatherings for Muslims. It is an excellent place for Muslims to be inspired to take their religion more seriously and strive more for the sake of Allah (swt). In non-Muslim countries, the Friday Prayer may be one of the few opportunities for Muslims to be reminded of their religion.
This course will help to promote effective skills in the delivery of Friday sermons. This will also ultimately increase the number of capable khateebs in Rochdale and surrounding areas. It is meant to help people deliver khutbahs in a knowledgeable and effective way. Current demographic, political and social trends predict a significant increase in demand for English khutbahs in the near future. Watch this space!
The seminar will combine theory and the opportunity to practise and hone skills.

Home Sweet Home – A Proactive Approach To A Happy Family

Home Sweet Home - A Proactive Approach To A Happy Family
The Prophet salallahu alahi wassalam said, “The best amongst you is the best towrds his family. As for me, I am the best amongst you towards my family.” Ibn Majah.
Consider this,
Ahmed and Fatima have been married for 5 years and have 3 children. Ahmed wonders why he married Fatima in the first place. He says to you, ‘The only reason I stay with her is because of the kids. I cannot bear to lose them.’ But Ahmed is at work for 12 hours a day for 6 days a week and the kids barely know him.
Fatima complains to you saying,’I hardly see my husband, he is never at home’ She is insecure about her relationship with Ahmed and the also the future of their children. She says,’I don’t think Ahmed loves me anymore.’

Why Enrol?
Knowledge is power. It increases when you give it. It is needed by Kings and beggars alike. It eases the path to paradise. We are constantly reminded in the Qur’an and Sunnah of the importance of gaining Islamic knowledge so as to apply it in our lives. At AlKauthar Institute we have attempted to make this path as easy as possible for a Muslim, but in the end it will require your own individual commitment, dedication and hardwork to gain the pleasure of Allah.
Remember:
AlKauthar Institute is aiming to develop a pioneering world class Islamic learning institute, providing a professional and refreshing approach to Islamic courses which will touch the hearts and revive the souls. Come and see for yourself how we attempt to seek the reward of Allah by enriching the lives of individuals and communities.
Rarely do opportunities like this come our way whilst we are healthy and able. Take advantage of the chance and ENROL NOW! What will you be missing out on if you don’t?

FIQH OF MENSTRUATION
The topic of Menstruation has long been a taboo, in parts of the Muslim world even to this day; in the midst of the western society, Muslim Women are unsure about performing their duties while bleeding.
This course will endeavour to facilitate an understanding of the legal Islamic rulings to menstruation as they pertain to many aspects of your daily lives. The objective of this course is to give you the ability to recognise the issues and to deal with them. This course will help you answer a wide variety of common questions, such as;
• Can I touch the Qur’an during menstruation?
• Can I enter the Mosque?
• I want to perform the Hajj; I’ll use Pills to delay my cycle as it’s my only opportunity to go. I really can’t take the risk of bleeding during Hajj. Is this a right choice?
• I’ve missed 2 months of fasting due to post natal bleeding. What do I do?
• I’ve just had a coil placed inside, and it has changed my regular cycle of 7 days to 13 days. Is this my new cycle?
• I am bleeding but, it’s not red. Can I consider it as menstruation?
Additionally, a special seminar by a female Muslim Gynaecologist about the Anatomy and Physiology of the female reproductive organ.
This is your opportunity to overcome your shyness and barriers; to clear your mind and learn in a female only environment.
